Sales and the 'Talent Magnet'

A lot is written about being a ‘Talent Magnet’, either as a company, or as President. It’s all good practice – listen, mentor, reward, provide clear goals and career maps. Good practice for the employer, but what about the employee?

During the past 30 years we have refined our approach in designing and delivering leadership development and today we deliver programmes for managers from more than 40 countries with local faculty in 29 countries.

Integrated impact
Our clients benefit from our focused approach to leadership development, which fully integrates business and people aspects of leadership. We work closely with client organisations to convert their leadership paradigms into meaningful and effective leadership development practices that enable people in the organisation to successfully execute strategies.

Customised leadership solutions are designed as vehicles for strategy deployment and business development. These solutions ensure enhancement of personal leadership competencies and directly impact business performance.

Leading edge diagnostic tools with documented impact
You can document and prove impact of leadership development by using our leading edge online diagnostic tools which are customised to map leadership impact, team maturity, project management, creativity, and organisational excellence.

PRO-LEAD is a third generation tool that can provide the framework to identify leadership behaviours with the most impact on business performance. On an individual level, we offer tailored 360° and 270° tools, as well as recognised socio-metric instruments, e.g. MBTI, CPI, FIRO-B.

A true client-driven partnership
To achieve the highest impact, we engage HR and line managers in an efficient co-creation process which is a fully client-driven and transparent. The results are effective learner-centric and learner- driven processes and programmes.

Clients value our Scandinavian roots in terms of flexibility, creativity, innovation, and fairness. We build relationships on trust, care and concern outside our organisation as well as inside.

High calibre international faculty
You will find our large faculty a mix of leading business academics, facilitators and business psychologists with multi-lingual skills. Our 356 faculty members represent more than 30 nationalities.

All faculty members provide highly interactive and motivating learning sessions based on actual personal and organisational reality with a profound respect for the learner. Moreover, their professional expertise is indisputable. Over the past many years, faculty performance and professional level of expertise is on average measured at a score of 4.8 on a five point scale.

Administrative large-scale excellence
We have many years accumulated experience in successfully managing complex and high volume end-to-end administrative processes utilising on-line technology, which ensures responsive, efficient and high-quality service and deliveries. We design and deliver more than 700 programmes annually.

The story of The Danish Leadership Institute
In 1975 the Institute was founded by the two engineering societies in Denmark as a merger of their respective technical and management training activities. They named the institute DIEU , a Danish acronym for Danish Engineers’ Post Graduate Institute.

Twenty years ago the Institute repositioned itself away from technical training and into open Danish programmes in management and leadership development and became the largest of its kind in Denmark, a position it still holds.

Fifteen years ago the first international programmes were delivered outside Denmark in Europe, The Far East, and in the U.S. with great success. In the 1990s the Institute developed rapidly and positioned itself as the first management development organisation to be ISO certified and later to be awarded The European Quality Award for business excellence. In 2001 the Institute was named the Best Place to Work in Denmark which underscored the urge for demonstrating best practice.

During the past five years the Institute has developed into a leading Pan European leadership institute with offices in Copenhagen, London, Brussels, and Berlin, and is undertaking large international leadership development projects for blue chip corporations with a total of more than 10,000 delegates annually.

Today, our mission is to help leaders learn to make strategies succeed. Our core offering, together with our clients, is to co-develop and co-deliver truly tailored and focused leadership interventions with proven high impact on personal and business performance at any level.
